The Escape Drive-in, WCFTA, 1996

This was the last full scale Escape' Drive-in held at the Wichita Center for the Arts, Wichita, KS in 1996. The event took place over two weekend evenings and was supposed to kick off a series of events, but due to the nearly unmarketable event due to it's offbeat nature. This was a really great show attended by a huge crowd of around 30 people with a running time of around 2 1/2 hours per evening. Music guest included Split Lip Rayfield, Kevin Bobo, Double Seconds, along with film/music experiments and the poetry of Fred Gutknecht. All was not lost though, the show was re-tooled into "M.T. Pockets Budget Film Fest", which ran for another six years at the Center. This event was booked by Teri Mott, Charla Sanderson & Jake Euker.
