Roadblasters - Gameplay

I always liked this game as a kid, even though I had to sit on my dads lap while he used the pedals and I steered xD

Does anyone remember the matchbox toys that were made based on this also?

I totally used to play this game when I was a kid, myself. I recall having rented the NES port a few times long ago, but back then I wasn't the keenest on video games, so I didn't know what I was doing. But I still thought the idea of driving a car that can shoot stuff was awesome.
