Marnie (Alfred Hitchcock) edited by Ailen Roc

I love Hitchcock anyway= nearly all his pictures belong to my all-time-favorites since my early childhood. BUT if I would have to make a choice, MARNIE is MY favorite, because this picture is such a sublime culmination of all (the subjective) Hitchcock movies for my point of view.


I choose the song Glory Box from Portishead instead of the original soundtrack more intuitively. But while I was working on that trailer/collage I became more and more assured that this was the right choice (for me).

ps: in case someone wonders about this tasteless version of my Marnie Clip called 'Confissões de uma ladra (Marnie -1964' supposedly edited by a guy who calls himself TURISTANDO on YouTube: this crappy-tacky stuff has nothing to do with me. He just stole my version, added the soundrack and his credits, and claims it was done by him.
I just hope no one thinks I would create something so tasteless...*))
Anyway= he did the same thing with other clips: so watch out for this lil thief...*))

@edwardjames50 I absolutely disagree. And believe me: I am a very self critical person, and I have a lot of distance to what I produce. I think this song fits to the clip just perfectly.

@AilenRocB The music fits this video perfectly, I must say it is masterfully done. This is my favorite Hitchcock film, and this is the best Marnie video to be found on Youtube.

@gunslinger7555 Thank you. It's also my favorites although I really like a lot of his work. I love nearly all his pictures. I also think I did a good job & as I mentioned= usually I'm never really satisfied with my work cause I have high standards. But I think I edited it in a way that it's like a compression of the story on one hand & shows it also out of a certain perspective on the other hand This is also why I choose this song to give some other insight to Marnies thought process.

@thebaldurian THANK YOUUUU!! Usually when I produce something creative I don't like it anymore after a while, because then I just see what I could have made better.. But there are some things I like all my life= and I a quite satisfied with the editing compared to my Spellbound clip for example.
