The project supported t sustainable community-based activities in Peam Krosaup wildlife sanctuary. The activities involve planting magrove tree on 40 ha of degraded land and protecting the remaining mangrove trees under the 3 communities management areas. The project also aimed at protecting 20 ha of sea grass in Chhroy Bros Community management areas.
In addition, the project addressed the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources mainly fisheries and mangrove resources in areas under increasing human pressure by organizing women saving & self-help groups to create community-based alternatives livelihoods.
