Motown's most overlooked single, period. One of the best backing rhythm tracks ever put down by the Funk Brothers, and those shrill explosions of voice throughout are just incredible. They remixed this into stereo later and sucked the life out of it. This mono version--sounds like it was recorded at the bottom of a cavernous stairwell--has a groove that you don't get with all of the instruments separated.

MotownMagic1959, Thank you. This one got by me. And as a Marvelettes #1 fan I am happy to have come across this one again after 45 years. It totally has that 1965 sound. The sexy sound of the Mavelettes give me a natural high. Wow. There's "BiIl", "Hunter" "Captured" "Magician"
"Beechwood" "Postman" "Forever". Get the Point? Thanks MM1959.

Carolyn Crawford -- there's an artist who didn't have much commercial success, but who had a great voice.
As for the Marvelettes, the lead singer had a very different kind of voice, very sexy, very smooth. She sounded great on all the records.
Ah, those were the days!
I LOVE MOTOWN!

@simon4186 That's really nice to know Simon, you'll be glad then if you listen to my other 250 rare releases mostly unreleased from Motown's vaults after all these years :-) I've a huge number of The Marvelettes 1960's original singles on here as I was once a DJ, and thanks mainly to UMG, newly released CD's of "A Cellarful of Motown" that are excellent in my opinion, well worth buying indeed, that have the unreleased tracks on.
