This video presents 3 simple ways to avoid 'jump cuts' in your videos.
1. multiple cameras and angles
2. multiple takes
3. B-roll
I focus on using B-roll, because in a lot of situations, 1-camera / 1-take is all you've got, so the 1st two options aren't really available. Get in the habit of shooting plenty of B-roll.
Once again, this series is NOT offering advice geared towards professional video makers. These are tips that I have figured out along the way, and wish to share with others who may be interested in creating a video blog. My focus is on low-cost, low-skill, and minimal-effort tips that i think make a difference.
great information, I would love to use your vid for the class I teach, however the audio is pretty rough.
