That voice isn't of Lionel Ritchie, but the lead vocal is J. D. Nicholas and "Thank You" belongs to the 1988 Album "Rock Solid".

quando ouvi essa musica, estava tocando no radio aqui no parana em 1989 , estava uma noite agradavel, o céu tão estrelado como nunca vi. claro, estava pensando numa garota especial também. mas desde então essa canção ficou em meus pensamentos por anos. e até hoje venho aqui ouvir essa musica e descançar.

In my opinion, possibly the greatest love song ever. From their Rock Solid album if I remember right. Indeed "Thank You" Commodores.
