Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger SP License 特捜戦隊デカレンジャー ＳＰライセンス

Here we have the next to last Deluxe Review. With quality leaps and bounds better than my previous review, I bring you the SP License!

The SP License is the standard Henshin Device for the main Dekaranger team. Much like the two after it [Master License and Brace Throttle] it has three modes: Change, Phone, and Judge.

Like I stated in my earlier review, I quite like this little toy. When this was new in 2004, there was only three main Henshin Toys before it that weren't a Brace: Dynobuckler, Doron Changer and the G Phone [i'm not counting things like the Keitaizer or G Brace Phone]. So the idea of this toy was pretty fresh. The design is quite nice too. The sliding button works well most of the time. My only real gripe is the decals. Ugh. Maybe they could've made some kind of cardboard ID to slide in place instead of messing it up with decals...

The Power Rangers fans got Power Rangers SPD as an adaptation of Dekaranger and with that got the Delta Morpher as an adaptation of the SP License. Aside from having missing electronics, the size is also smaller. But the biggest missing piece of all IS....Phone Mode is completely gone. Fail!
