I have to agree. He describes just how HRAP works. I got it as well after AIT (free leave sounded very good); but since I got back to my recruiters and told them I didn't like my experience and I thought the Army was bullcrap and I didn't really want to help recruit I didn't get my free leave or bonuses.
What benefits are there to reap after getting out? I used to think people saw soldiers as heroes. I thought you'd get good experience for the civilian sector. Now I know better.

my question, is did this guy actually join the military or just talk about others experiences.
Everybody has different experiences in the military I guess. Not everyone's is going to be good.

Pablo Paredes just read your biography, you deserved what was coming to you, you seem smart but then you complain after joining, then you bow out when called to sail overseas, do your stuff then get out and reap the benefits. Cry baby.
