I remember exactly what I was doing on July 5, 1999. It was a really hot summer day. I ate at a Chinese restaurant and then went to Best Buy and bought the movie Ghostbusters on VHS. Then I went home and watched it that day. I kept a journal back then too but I think I threw it away.

I saw Phantom Menace when it came out. I also saw A New Hope when it was re-released with enhanced special effects in 1997. I've never been a big Star Wars fan - I never even bothered to see Episodes II and III. I will admit to having gone through a Trekkie phase.
