Wow. This must have been the goal all along. Any time he ever endorsed a "rational, effective humane immigration policy" he knew all along that sometime in the future he would equate it with "path to citizenship" as if every 'reasonable' 'independent' person must logically take this viewpoint.

I am a legal immigrant. Born in Franrce, naturalized and a proud American Citizen. Now I ask, is it not a slap in my face, that I had to obey the law and the illegal immigrants do not? Why are they able to break our laws and people feel it is ok? Why is this group supporting illegal aliens. Supporting amnesty programs. If we are going to have amnesty then shouldn't we also have amnesty for white collar criminals charged with fraud. Is it not the same thing? SAY NO TO AMNESTY, ENFORCE THE LAWS.
