Rear Admiral Ferdinand Golez New FOIC Philippine Navy Part 2

Rear Admiral Ferdinand Golez became Flag Officer in Command (FOIC) of the Philippine Navy on August 2, 2008. He is a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 1976. He is the first son of a Navy officer to become FOIC. His father was the late retired Navy Captain Salvador Golez of Dumangas, Iloilo. He is the brother of Paranaque Congressman Roilo Golez, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Class of 1970. His other brother, Elias Golez, a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy, Class of 1979, also served in the Navy. Video shows Admiral Golez reading his orders and saluting the Fleet during the Change of Command Ceremony.
