CRISPS AREN't PHALLIC
watch on. it is very Boosh but many years before-check it out! This is an edited sequence from what I was doing in 14 years ago.

A bizzare pre boosh but similar to Noel & Julian's chats- outing made at drama college in the early 90's.
My influences at the time were Vic and Bob and Python, anything surreal ( whatever that means?). My comedy chum was the funny man, while I look a lot like a hyperactive lanky Sid Little feeding him oppotunities for jokes. Though I do look nice.
The stream of consciouness style was improvised live on camera, filmed by my brother and another cool chap.The smaller chap was a natural comedian, i met back in 91 at college, a comedy yoda-he taught me much I am much funnier thanks to him, I often try to think like him comedy wise and I wish him well, but lost contact almost 8 years ago.We did an excellent radio show called ETHEL BUTTERIDGE SAYS MONKS AREN'T TRANSPARENT (EBSMAT)

Were we ahead of our time? There's more to come the full film CRISPS AREN't PHALLIC made in 1993.

I do more gag filled, scripted, structured, stuff now. My current material will on at the CAMDEN FRINGE on THURS 23rd AUG, FRI 24th AUG, SAT 25th AUG at LIBERTIES at 8pm. but I'm glad I had a baptisim of fired up surrealism wooly ways of early 20's.I'm glad I experimented with humour, Burning the self indulgence and wooliness so now my stuff is sharper. Though at the time I was convinced I was producing gold, looking back it was more like marmite, not to everyones taste and odd, I was young I knew deep down I knew what I was doing even though I didn't or did I? Don't you jusy hate that when that happens or Do you?

It rained again today...it was all sunny and then it wasn't and then it was sunny again.

THERE! I had to put it in three segments because youtube wouldn't let me be the wonderful writer who I am that writes things that have more then 500 characters in them.

I compulsively film (with my little Sony video camera!!!) big events or little skits or basically anything...but in a way I'm kind of like a starving artist, tape is very expensive and can only film 60 minutes oflife.

I have to much life to film that I can't pay for...does that make sense? I would have these little films up if it weren't for when I lost my software which enables me to import video from my little Sony which is incompatible to anything else, or so it says...

I obsess over movies such as Donnie Darko, and people like Jake Gyllenhaal and Noel Fielding...I draw strange and disturbing "mighty boosh-esque" black and white drawings. I have performed comedic skits before which people usually label as "surreal, and really funny in a weird way..."

But not skits in a professional way, I'm just a hopeless teen.
