Yes the lyrics are just amazing, and it's a song I just find myself singing all the time. It really resonates with anyone who's had that kind of wild, passionate relationship.

still really good considering he hadn't sang this song live for years!

Love this song!... but sorely miss the Chris Spedding guitar solo and Manzanera's awesome play on rhythm..it just isnt the same w/o it.

My favourite song of his in the eighties, never realised he would ever play this again, otherwise I'd have been there!

I was at the Masonic Auditorium June 28, 1977 and still have the program...great concert...I have the vinyl album but cant find the CD "In Your Mind" All Night Operator and Love Me Madly Again my favorites!
-
The best track on In Your Mind. I love that tsong. the orchestral arrangement is what really sets this song apart.

Thanks for posting this. I always thought that back in the days of his vinyl recordings (and now on reissued CDs) Ann Odell's string arrangements added a further dimension to Ferry's work. What happened to Ann Odell???
Chris Spedding is so, so excellent.

I saw him do this song live in Detroit during the In Your Mind Tour. It was amazing! Paul Thompson was on drums, Phil Manzanera played rhythm guitar, and Chris Spedding played the slide guitar solo. Along with the horn section, they blew the doors off the place!!

Another Ferry Gem.
presuming that you are a fan of bryan ferry, how could you possibly post something of such poor quality?!
pmcbrighton 3 years ago
Hiya, you are presuming right; I am a BF fan. But you are also presumptious.
The visual quality may be poor but the musical and emotional quality are very high. Plus it is a song that he hasn't performed in a long time. As you read the other comments, you will see that a lot of people are very happy with this video.
So there you go...
:-)
