@mudanat *maybe, the writing on the wall could use a little revision

@appledpickle oh I didnt know that! yeah I suppose it would be different and there no way anybody can interpret something exactly the same, even the author himself. So that makes sense, I learned something new :D. But, Shane Koyzcan is a great poet, I publish horror stories, and nothing inspires me to be the best that I can be like Koyzcan.

@MrNickard Actually, in spoken word terms, any performance of any poem is an "interpretation" whether the performer wrote it or not. This is true of any performance, whether it be a song, a dance, a play, a scene in a film, etc. The person performing is interpreting that work in that moment. In a different moment, with a different feeling or different direction, it will sound and feel different. That's the beauty of the performing arts ;)

@appledpickle I'm pretty sure its not an interpretation because he wrote it himself. Its a very emotional presentation, Shane Koyzcan knows how to give his words life. Other poets may be good in the literary sense, but none of them can present their poems with the same emotion as Shane Koyzcan, Taylor Mali is a close second in my books.

i keep change in the tip of my pen and it seeps out every now and then in spurts of angry ink that make me think, maybe, the world could use a little revision.
