Bees chillin' at a beehive and then go inside when wood smoke is puffed over them. This makes them less interested in you as you inspect a hive.

  • smoke makes them less interested coz ur makin em high!!! lol

  • Darling! Look at 'em run for cover!

  • one question. do you still have cinnamon and your porcupine?

  • Yup, probably all about proper procedure + getting a good species. She was probably lucky to have such an ideal situation too, so it's likely good to also wear a hat anyway. :)

  • Never stung eh? That is bizarre...but that's also good for them hahaha.

  • I've seen hobby beekeepers claim they've never been stung in their years of experience, even without protective clothing.

Kind of strange though, don't they care about humans opening up the hive?

  • oh that's cool! You're raising bees? I'd love to if I weren't so deathly afraid of them ^.^ do they sting alot? Are they much different to take care of? Are they difficult to maintain?

  • LOL Really?
