@Argcz I guess not.. I love christmas! But mostly since I get to see my family, the evening of good food and presents and the general spirit! Gift giving has become a part of that - and removing it would be to go back to 'ancient days' (not literally). I think we should spend less and give gift cards xD merry christmas or happy holidays/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa :DD whatever you celebrate!

@MsHippie411 I'm atheist also. What difference does it make? You celebrate christmas, too, don't you? So the message of the video still stands. I agree that they could have skipped the religious stuff and the point would still be valid, but i don't see how it hurts anyone ;)

I dont like the movement. I love how it spending less and enjoying more. But honestly, I am an atheist and science proves Jesus was born in the Summer. Sorry but honestly - there should be a movement like this WITHOUT the religious aspect.

@supersmashermeta This is because they were raised that way. They were raised being given tens of thousands of dollars for christmas gifts. I'm talking about 100 presents for each kid; so when their parents aren't as lucky, and they only get 70 or so, it's the same shit every time. WAHHHHH WAHHHH WAHHH WHY ARE WE SO POOR WAHHHHHHHHH. You know what I got for christmas? A box of chocolates. You know what I got for my birthday? One game. And I am happy to have what I have.

@LadyBria1996 Corrupt governments are placed by Countries like the US, UK, France, Russia and all the super powers in the world, so they can keep on stealing their resources the one you just mentioned. In Oil, Gold...

USA spent more than 500B in the war in Iraq, that's enough money to feed every hungry person for next 100 years. In order for some countries to stay rich other must stay poor!! And that's the sad story of Africa and any other poor country!!

@ddut887 Do you really think its they're fault they have corrupt governments who don't care about them?! If it wasn't for the corruption in Africa, they'd be the richest continent on earth. They have oil, gold, coal, precious gems, etc. but they don't have clean water. Have a heart.
