Not only is this my fave Ultravox track (of the Midge era at least) and not only was I at this particular gig, of all the live footage of that tour that I've seen on you tube this is far and away the best quality. Your brother should be very pleased - pass on my thanks to him.

Its got no power like they originally played it years back. Its very flat and tinny, perhaps this was the recording device used. Nice footage but it sounds very twee I'm afraid.

The original video was in 5.1 audio HD.

It has power when played in the original format.Not so when compressed by Yutube codecs.

It had the power on the night.

I was at the Portsmouth gig last night and I had so many goosebump moments during this - Astradyne was always one of my favourites and the boys certainly did it justice - especially Warren's thundering drum work. Fantastic evening, I never thought I'd get to see them, 25 years after I last saw them in concert.

@Funkstar124 I saw the same tour in Plymouth. Don't get me wrong I absolutely loved them in the 80's but wasn't sure it would live up to those days. Happy to say I was sooooo wrong. Awesome gig! Nice one

Thanks ickleian. If the guy's melon hand't been in the way, I would have had some really excellent footage. Also the security there was pretty hot on Videos etc.
