Sais Tribute - Famous Characters using the Sai Weapon

Sai é uma arma de origem Okinawa e acredita-se que era usada como ferramenta agricultural já que os camponeses eram proibidos de usar armas.

Apesar da relativa simplicidade, o sai quando usado por alguém com habilidade pode ser de grande efeito contra espadas longas, sendo capaz de prender a lâmina da espada e eventualmente até a quebrar (como ocorre no vídeo durante a luta de Raphael e Leonardo).

Sai is a weapon originated in Okinawa and people believe it was used as an agricultural tool, as the peasants were not allowed to carry "real weapons".

Despite this simplicity, the sai when used by a skilled fighter can be very effective against long swords, by trapping the sword's blade and eventually, even fracture the blade (as you can see in the video during the fight between Raphael and Leonardo).

AWESOME VIDEO!!! I love the Gabrielle, Mileena and Elektra scenes especially.

I think the only other famous Sai battle was in one of The Mummy movies. I think it was return of the king where the two girls fight with sai.
