My Superstar: Joe

I woke up with her head on my shoulder, our hands still entwined. I kissed her forehead as her eyes slowly fluttered open. "Morning sunshine." I beamed down at her.
"Mmm... hi" She said, rubbing her eyes. She was just too cute! I kissed her nose and she giggled as she began to shuffle through her purse, pulling out her phone. "Well...It's not morning anymore." She laughed. I love her laugh.
"True. But look," I pointed outside. "It's clearing up, the stars are coming out"
"They're beautiful." She agreed. I let her out of the tunnels and helped her stand up. I don't know how long we were in there for, but both of our legs were asleep. We fell back onto the slide and laughed at our stupidity in pain.
"Sleeping in a tunnel, not the smartest idea." She laughed.
"Agreed. Never again?" I asked.
"Never again." She confirmed.

I wrapped my arm around her and we laid out, looking at the stars.
"I kinda wish I had a star, like in A Walk to Remember" I began. She looked at me like I was crazy.
"Chick flick much?" She joked.
"I said kinda" I emphasized. "Besides," I continued. "I have the brightest star right here." I grinned. "I love you , Superstar."
"Cheesy, but I like it." She smiled, placing her hand against my face, turning to kiss me. I reached up and held my hand against hers.
