Traditional Chinese Lion Dance at a Wedding《老外视线》

Check out this "Foreigner Perspective" short to see a traditional Chinese lion dance at the start of a wedding in China. The lion dance is a symbol of good luck and happiness for the wedding couple. Here, two lions and the Happy Man greet the couple and perform Kung Fu acrobats, ending with a bow to honor the couple. Following the beat of the drummers, the lions lead the couple to the door of the restaurant and present scrolls wishing the couple a long happy life together.

You know, it was by sheer luck I caught this. I was staying in a guest house in Qingdao for the Beer Festival. After check in, I went to my room and heard the drums beating. I looked out of the window to see this. I grabbed my camera and caught it.

I will say, as cool as this is, I've seen an amazing lion dance in Hong Kong where the lions climbed large poles and balance on top!

@senordd have the southern lion instead of the northen looks betta and more cute if u want the furious looking one go for southern fut san and a friendlier one is southern hok san

Yeah when I went to Hong Kong they did AMAZING stunts and just an all round great performance. I've been in a Lion Dance before, my Wushu class had to do it.

Its fun, I encourage everyone to learn how to do it.
