Sadly, one of his best and most accurate questions was 'Does any intelligent civilization survive its technological adolescence?', and the answer is No. Not by dramatic nuclear holocaust, but by slowly but surely using up all the natural resources on their pale blue dot. 7 billion (and growing) people on Earth cannot be maintained, it's that simple... (We only had 1 billion people in1900.)

I think its time to remove the falsity of a god/gods. Its time to hail men and women like this. This man, an awe inspiring, poetic, beautiful, kind hearted, intellectual, intelligent man. This man deserves STATUES and MONUMENTS. He was and still is an inspiration! We should teach science and math NOT falsified history written by the victors or nonsense. We must ban together, and explore what we are APART OF. THE COSMOS is where we make our NEW STAND. Lets embrace the reality and go forth into it

As they say, the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long... Carl Sagan was such a passionate person and he will live on through the people he inspired and motivated. I only wish I could have had one conversation with him. Thank you for the upload!
