  • wonderful performing and video!

  • Not only great voice, but great acting too :)

  • Was a DVD of this released yet? Or are then plans?

  • Just read about this in the Daily Telegraph Review. Apparently Ligeti write in the score, 'with extreme panic and hysteria,' and then in the next line, 'even more panic', and finally, 'completely beside herself'. Don't like it but amazing - bet she had great fun doing it.

  • The concertmaster disliked this video because he misses his part.

  • This is just beyond amazing.

  • @CcCharlesW I don't think Lady G. has anything compared to Le Grand Macabre in avant-garde. Are they put this onto DVD?

How much do you think it cost to get production rights for the opera? (music, score, right to perform)

  • Absolutely amazing! I heard the radio broadcast and loved it, but this makes me ache to see a video. Please, NYPhil, release a DVD or broadcast this on PBS soon.
