  • Well I don't know what you're doing with yours to wear them out so quick but my one is 20 years old, I use it for a scarf and with a little knot tying and folding it has even been used as a shoulder bag when I needed it, if you look up "furoshiki" here on YT you will find vids that show you how to use a cloth to carry all kinds of crazy shit.

  • @Redshift21

I consider them to be disposable, so I rip them, lend them out, wipe gross stuff with them (and then throw them away)

  • From someone who has worn many shemagh's, the reason they have thinner/thicker material has more to do with what they were designed form, than overall quality. Yes, Thinner to us means cheap but to people who actually wear them, it mean cooler. And thinker means warmer. No necessarily better quality. Just my 2 cents. Love your channel, thanks for the many great reviews!

  • @flyod26

Yea I can see that.. it would be worse if the lightweight ones were the same price, but at half price I'd say they are all an equal 'deal' overall

  • What ur reviewing Tactical Scarf, whats next tactical ice cream! ;) LOL

  • @themasterkiller1

yea, I hope thats a joke.. cause we did tactical Ice Cream a few weeks back

    Next week.. tactical mittens

  • I like the shemaghs because they protect my face from the sun and dust

  • Do you have a Rothco brand one? If so, do you know if they are good quality?

  • Without wishing to be jingoistic here but it does give me immense national pride that Brit armed forces were using shemagh's quite a long time ago, in particular there are pictures of LRDG units using them in WW2

  • @GearBuyersGuide that's fair enough, I guess I'm just an old skinflint as I tend to hate disposable stuff, I repair - reuse - repurpose gear all the time, also I love duel purpose gear and I find these scarves fulfill this respect as well, like I said I have used my scarf as a bag at times when I've bought to much gear and needed the carrying power, it's always a blast to see peoples faces when you turn a flat piece of clothe into a large bag in a couple of seconds with just three knots : )

  • @Breakneckhydra1 You're right, and he showed it too. I missed the first part. I should have watched the whole video before commenting.

  • @762x51n8o

First words he says - "yea we're at the range today"....

  • Awww, don't wipe your nose with them. hahaha! Nice review! Shemaghs are awesome!

  • cool
