i remember when
Jim wrote this song. he was very upset at the time when i was with him. he was like hey well im going to write a song about this. i said ok. i helped with the melody and he was happy about the outcome.
btw everyone he HATED the cover of Strange Days with the circus freaks

Takes me right back to my senior year in high school when this came out. What a haunting song. The instrumentation is very inventive as well with fast tremolo-laden electric guitar played together with a marimba. It was way ahead of its time.
