Paul is greatly missinformed, as is this video. In typical american fashon the videomaker failed to look beyond it's own borders, to notice that this is a worldwide phenom. Therefor probably not due to virus. But also in true american style you didnt let a silly thing like not having any evidence stop you from making up your mind.
It has long been wondered how bees communicate and maintain order in the colony, one thing for sure, there is much to learn about bees.

There are 5 reasons why the Bee's are dying.
First is they are fed sugar water when they travel.
Sugar is a toxin. It should never be fed to bees or animals... or even people.
On the East Coast there is less CCD, because they don't have massive mono farms the way Cal & Fl do.
Solution: decentralize & stop shipping bees.
Notice it is only happening to bees that are being shipped.
Yes, mites who love sugar, carry viruses.
