This new Child Sponsorship advertisement signals a fresh change for the way in which World Vision Australia will look to engage Australians over the issue of child poverty. It aims to highlight that simple lifestyle choices can enable everyday Australian families to make a positive lasting change to a child and their entire community, who are living in desperate need.
Every second child in the world is living in poverty.

  • The New Internationlist magazine an an editorial on the eve of the Interntaional Year of the Child in 1978 it said 'Please do NOT sponsor this child. There are better ways to help". Nothing has changed except the slickness of the marketing camapigns of World Vision. Child sponsorship doesn't work. The best thing you can do for the children is to sponsor the MOTHER.

  • @Rawrlor I don't think you made a sensible comparison. It's inhumane to let a dog die when you have the means.

  • So true.. just by cutting down on things that you don't need , you are actually helping a child. It's a good feeling trust me guys.

  • @joyce2911

Animals in the wild aren't taught this and dont wear condoms yet they seem to just manage fine.

It's inhumane to pamper a bunch of retards that deserve to die.

People have lived in tribal communities since cavemen and they managed. Theres no excuse.

  • My friend says hes in the video games..hes the guy who's playing the game...and the dude does look like him :O

  • Nice!!

  • Some of us think we are doing it tough... I am a Uni student and am always counting my pennies. But I figure a few less coffees a week means I can actually afford to sponsor a child. We just have to put it into perspective :)

  • Great Add everyone should sponsor a child if they are capable of doing so keep it strong World Vision !!! :) -_-

  • its 30 dollars to sponsor,not 42

  • that's why you sponsor them, therefore they got to be educated about safe sex and have condoms...
