Hi. I learnt English in my home country from 1st grade up to college level but we did not do much of spoken. So my spoken English is poor but I'm very good at writing, listening and reading. My biggest weakness is pronunciation of words. The thing is because I know grammar so much, every time I make a mistake I try to rectify it and start my statement all over again and sometimes I feel so bad. What can I do to overcome, they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.. I'm 26

@iamaproudafrican You are past the "critical period" but you can improve your pronunciation - I make videos for people like you! Practice and speak - join my online class if you like - friend me on facebook :)

@acethdcj Here's a few ideas: Firm handshake, make lots of eye contact, smile, research the company beforehand and make positive comments about the company and ask some good, smart, specific questions about the company. Be ready to explain how you can help the company become more successful. That should get you started :)
