  • NO, but

it is a necessary tool in the war on liberty!

  • My question: On 9/11, we lost approximately 3K people. The Terrorist did fatal harm to approximately 0.001% of the U.S. population on 9/11. In contrast, the passed legislation (e.g. USA Patriot Act I&II, Military Commissions Act, and secretive presidential signing statements) subverts the U.S. Constitution, which affects 100% of us. Who poses the GREATER risk to 100% of Americans: Foreign terrorists or profiteering U.S. politicians bent on drastically changing our Constitution and liberties?

  • ECHELON... 'unwarranted' phone tapping has been going on since at least the 70s.

"But will the Americans react the same way as the German people and submit?" not submit, but like the germans actually did, we will embrace it.

not just americans, but europeans as well..

Q: what country do you think has the biggest video surveillance culture?

    A: The UK

  • Great question!!! Hope you get on the debate!

  • Adolf Hitler probably tried to justify the Enabling Act as well.

But will the Americans react the same way as the German people and submit?

  • Tools in the war on terror have already been shown to be the wrong tools. W started tapping phones months before 911. Didn't help did it?

  • If you aggree to this tell to reps to Support the American Freedom Agenda Act "restore the Constitution's checks and balances and protections against government abuses.."

    Sponsored by Congressman Ron Paul!

  • Hmmm, smells an awful lot like Rome...

  • Hmm, I belive it is somewhat necessary but only letting a single person decide such a thing is a bad decision. Possibly a committee of somesort can define who is a foe and who is an ally would be the best way to go. Though this war on terror seems a bit overblown and inflated much more than what it actually is.

  • I see, Pleblian, so you're actually referring to people becoming restless... good reason for Marshall Law to suppress a Revolution by "homegrown homeland terr'rists"... you might be not far off the mark. Afterall, there does seem to be an air of freedom, just a breeze perhaps, but it could gain wind.

  • I'm not psychic and I'm not eceptionally

intelligent I'm just doing the math.

My friends used to make fun of my political predictions which I have been making since 98 where I have been right on ever count, they don't laugh anymore.

I don't know what it is I'm just good at solving political trajectories.
