With regard to scene splicing, I think that was the first non-seamless show I've seen (or maybe you've tricked me before). I was so surprised to see that splicing right before the "Right here, on Playbook TV" Shame, shame. =)

I love the way the GOP commits political suicide. Back in the mid-nineties they decided that maybe their old "Southern Strategy" wasn't working for them anymore. They would have to reach out to Blacks, Hispanics, and Arab Muslims on "faith based" issues. They never made much progress with Blacks, but they won Hispanic and Arab Muslim voters. These days, however, they are doing their level best to alienate both Muslims and Hispanics. Good luck with that as the GOP becomes a permanent minority.

"Rodham" is Hillary's maiden name - not her middle name. At some point during her husband's 1st term, she requested reporters to use "Rodham Clinton" rather than just "Clinton".

And I thought John Lewis switched a long time ago...

Java-Clinton won Massachusetts by 15 points-why aren't you calling for Sens. Kennedy and Kerry to switch their allegiance? Lewis didn't "have" to switch, he just wanted to. It's just wrong for blacks to feel "obligated" to support Obama just because he's black. Can't we move beyond politics like this? That's supposedly what Obama's candidacy is all about.
