I can swear that if ANY politician tried to based their politics on religion in Europe, they would be chewed on, spit out and stomped on. The fact that someone like Sarah Palin was only 9,5 million votes out of 130 million away from being VP of one of the strongest military countries in the world is scaring me.

@MackanK94 Sorry, but there are a LOT of politicians in europe who base their politics on religion (like the leader of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), HC Strache, who says "Abendland in Christenhand" (= occident in christian hand)… hell, there are even a lot of parties who have religion in their name! (CDU/CSU -> Germany, Kristdemokraterna in Sweden, etc. etc).

Though I have to admit that some politicians in the US do take it WAY over the top when it comes to religion.

Joy has more influence than Hasselcunt. I am all for opposing views. But couldn't they find someone with a personality at least. I would love to see someone like Ann Cunter take her place. I dont't agree with her views, but she's much more interesting than Hasselcunt.

@MackanK94 Actually, in Holland there is a politician who bases his politics on religion, that is on his hatred for Islam and Muslims. His name is Geert Wilders and he has become unbelievably popular.
