Green Couch Session - Gruff Rhys

Gruff Rhys is a talented artist from Wales. With a thick accent and songs written in Welsh this amazing musician displays an enormous range of talents and skills. Having played for years in bands across the UK he is settling into his solo career nicely. He is currently on tour for his third solo album 'Hotel Shampoo'

Our session with Gruff Rhys was sporadic and eventful, the very best kind! We met him in the Biltmore just after sound check and about 3 minutes before the Canucks won game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals. We filmed outside a hole in the ground, soon to become "an other" beautiful condo, and could not escape the celebration in the street.

Gruff smiled threw the horns as if they were for him and played us a few different tunes,
that merged perfectly with the notes of the traffic.
