Tax Day Tea Party - Austin, Texas 2009

Footage from the Tax Day Tea Party demonstration at the state capitol in Austin Texas. It started at 4:00 at the capitol steps with various speakers, and then a procession down Congress Avenue to Town Lake (aka Lady Bird Lake) followed. Here they pretended to throw crates of tea into the river.

This is sick my band & I are coming to Austin this weekend if anyone knows of any tax protest events going on we would love to speak about the problems & perils of big government & play some acoustic songs articulating our views. We are also looking to play open mic's so if anyone could help us find a good anti government venue it would be greatly appreciated.
