From Little Shop of Horrors...

I was lucky enough to play the part of Seymour Krelborn in LSOH for the NYT many years ago now... playing against the amazing Sophie Waller as my Audrey - who was simply amazing and has gone on to do some amazing things... (we were then lucky enough to do the premiere of Les Miserables at The Drill Hall together later on in life - me as Valjean and Sophie as Fantine!).

This song comes towards the middle of the first act and becomes the turning point of the show - Seymour's been trying so hard to look after this plant, giving it everything all the gardening books recommend but he still can't get it to grow - then, by accident, Seymour pricks his finger on some Rose thorns... and soon discovers the plant is a blood eating creature... In this version I'd put the prologue onto the end - simply because I think it blends well and it's a great recording of the theme song!
