It says it records for 2 hours non stop but the most i've ever managed is 20 mins which is dissapointing becasue i use it to record lectures. Anyone know how to increase the record length? And how do you know when its fully charged- which lights go on/off?

You seem like a knowledgeable guy. I have the new version and the directions say to put it in the video setting and press the round button for 3-4 seconds but it doesn't work! The blue light will not blink! I'm using a 1gb Micro SD. Any ideas?

@timmygoffin007 You turn the switch to on, then hold down the big button for 2-3 seconds until the green light turns on. After 3 seconds a blue light comes on and it's in stand-by moce, now press the big button 1x to start recording. That's how ours work. I can't say what the factory reject do that you buy on eBay...

Do you know the average battery life? Also, how well does it film documents?

@billythebaboon Actually we can't get this anymore, it's small video and 2 years old. It's the 2nd generation with 320 x 240 video. Gen 1 was postage stamp: 160 x 140!

Now it's 640 x 480 and it's about 60-90 minutes depending on the battery. We just dropped our price so check out the link above and it will have a link to the new one.

I just got one from a difft. site but am starting to think I got ripped off. Mine is different than most I've heard of so far. The 2-function switch near the SD card slot says "RECORD" & "VIDEO". "VIDEO" records videos & stills, "RECORD" will start recording audio only as soon as the switch is moved into the "RECORD" position. It has 0 internal memory, accepts up to 8GB microSD card. The face does not have the microSD card symbol either. FPS seems to be an average of 25. Any thoughts? plz
