Balkan Cabaret is: Joe Finn, violin and clarinet; Michael Lawson, accordion and vocals; Steve Ramsey, guitar, tambura, bugarija and vocals; Mary Sherhart, vocals; Rich Thomas, bass and vocals. These singers and musicians have spent much of the past 35 years studying and learning music and songs from throughout Eastern Europe and are now considered one of the finest Balkan ensembles in the United States.

Vashon Island is located near Seattle, Washington. It is accessible only by ferry (or kayak/canoe for the more adventurous).
