  • I never had the honour of meeting John Candy but to me he was a gentle giant and has made me laugh ever since his days in SCTV when I was in high school.I have to say this movie caught me totally off guard at the end when John tells Steve he dosen't have a home and his wife has been dead for eight years...that got some tears going...and this comming from a guy as well. Thanks for posting this song stooge35 ;)

  • Love it, but I would love to know who sings this version.

  • You're a God for uploading this.

  • fuck yeah 80s!

  • "Every time Neal Page goes 'way, he takes a piece of Del Griffith with him....."

  • Hello Mr. Griffith.

  • You know you could always just go on mp3 youtube to get the song, thats what im about to do anyway.

  • @Snicklefritz1979 I don't think they ever released it. Unfortunately. :-(

  • I've been searching for this particular version for years.

  • I paraphrase the comment by John ( Del ) in the movie " When I die, all that anyone will remember is my selling shower curtain rings."

Of course thankfully he was wrong, we remember him for so many wonderful movies and his years on SCTV. In an interview with cast members they all recalled the generosity and kindness of John, he was a big man with a big heart. So sad that he was taken from us so soon.... RIP John we miss YOU!

I will never tire of watching him perform.
