Great car! I used to have a 100/6 in the mid 70's with a home-made overdrive lever on the side of the tunnel,
Here in Cornwall we would call those 'lanes' main roads.

Thanks for your response. The reason i ask is that i have owned my MK1 since 1976, had the engine rebuilt more than once & have never had oil pressure as high as yours, but it does tick over at 30-35 psi when hot which seems to be O.K.
What brand is Magnol?.

A very nice video of a trip in what has to be my favourite car of all time: the very lovely Austin-Healey.
Thanks very much for sharing.

The oil pressure is excellent, how many miles has that engine done & who built it?

The engine had never been rebuilt and had done just under 50k miles. It had been fitted with a modern canister oil filter and I was using Magnol 20/50. There was an oil pump modification on the early 3000's and I think this car was an early recipient, perhaps they put a bit more effort into it when it was made.

Thanks for the comment, I can honestly say that every time I sat in the car it put a smile on my face.
