majority of them get left on their own when they go back home. eventually they have to leave hospital to make room for the new arrivals. most areas these people get no help and some get no compensation at all. knobody is coming to help them. alot of the people get no help who have lost both legs and dont get special housing. non eof the houses in the uk are desinged to accomdate people with these kinds of disabilities. the government will leave them and not care. its all been covered up

its donations from the public that is funding the majority of treatments for the forces...shame shame shame on the governments..past and present...they like to ride on the glory of the forces achievements but dont like paying for those unfortunate enough to get seriously injured.

On the contrary I think they are incredibly special people. Whether you agree or disagree with war, you cannot ignore the incredible spirit that these people have to put their lives on the line for others. seagirlkat you described it perfectly.

there no different to any human being. There only human.
As much bravery as it takes fighting a war as a soldier, it is braver still to come home injured and keep going when you are still suffering from the effects of when even though others have long ago forgotten the sacrifices you have made for their protection.

I couldn't agree more, these men and women are super humans compared to us mere mortals.
