Origin
This trick is an application from another trick called 'Age old mystery' (by Marco). I've applied it onto two cell phones, so that the trick can be used in any social situations.

How this works:
Ask a series of questions and add them up. The answer will be the year X 2.

For example I performed this in 2009 so the final answer was 2009 x 2 = 4018
so if you do it this year (2011) the right one should be 4022.Question example.
What year were you born.?
By the end of this year how old will you be?
How long have you been doing...
What year did you start doing ...

Now re arrange the questions so that the trick seems less obviuos.
Go out practise with friends and make people smile:)
