to all these people who don't seem to understand this video; he's not saying all Military men or Marines are bad people. he's saying 1)being in the military wont make a shitty person better, 2)getting paid to go into a dangerous situation doesn't make you a hero; it makes you employed, 3) a man's job does not define him as a man.
& he even said "I'm not saying all marines are douchebags"
pay attention & stop being so sensitive.

Stop watching. It just makes your obsession seem more pathetic. =]

Some guys thought that just because they are in the military, they have the right to whoop my ass.
-
My husband didn't change much after basic, he was more polite and respectful but he was his same silly self. He still loved me the same, nothing really changed. But I have noticed that a lot of guys value their family more when they get done with basic. Everybody's proposing to their girlfriends and getting married.
-
This is so true. I thought the army would change my ex. But he cheated on me, and it just gave him the excuse he's always wanted to have to be a douche bag.
-
After basic's things do CHANGE.. the guy I was talking to while he was a boot totally came out like a jarhead :( everything we had went down the drain. Some military guys and I say some are big headed!

I get scared every time by GREETING SOULS ! And the while Marine thing I definitely understand . My brother is one but he was a asshole before the military but at the same time he is a sweetheart !
-
i know this has nothing to do but it annoys me so much when girls put things on their faceboook like army wife, navy wife, marine wife, etc... they sound like damn cheerleaders. Girl you did not marry the army you married the guy stop acting like you're better than any other wife and I understand there is deployments and stuff and they really do suck but In the end you are still a wife. People don't go around posting Firefighter wife, doctors wife...
-
I swear you made this more me. You were 100% on the dot about everything.. I didnt deserve it, and I no longer regret leaving his ungreatful ass.
-
Marines are ASS I went out with one!
-
Oh my. Hahaha. You make me laugh! Definitely needed this tonight!

I feel like the "ladies be trippin' son" line should be a ring tone
I totally understand what you're saying. I'm def not the type to get all butthurt bc the military could give a damn about me. And it's the truth and you speak absolutely nothing but the truth and I love that. You're honest and you show things at a point of view I have never even considered. I love that, I love your videos. You're awesome. I was totally not trying to hate if it came off that way. I love that you know your stuff about us military spouses. You do your research you can read into us

Oh okay, I apologize for taking it that way then. I got a lot crap for that statement on FB and on here so it just irked me to see it pop up again lol I'm glad you understood the point, I just read it with a defensive outlook.

Although the military doesn't care about their men being douchebag, they do care a lot if they do treat their wives shitty. THEY CARE BIG TIME. As a matter of fact, I have a brief with my husbands higher ups tomorrow about who to contact about spousal abuse. They're coming to my house to makedamn sure we live properly and healthily.

Let to me elaborate on that since no woman understood my point and got all uptight with it. What I meant by that is: The military doesn't care if Johnny didn't call you on your birthday or anniversary, they don't care if he's has stopped writing you letters, they don't care if he called your mom a whore. Yes they care if its an emergency like a death or violating the UCMJ, but for the most part, they don't care about your petty problems and make you guys go on marital retreats.

He talks about them not being heros, I agree. They also don't want to looked as that way. If they are that obsessed with themselves that they need that status of 'hero' then they are in the military for the wrong reasons. Did you not see the Marine that was awarded the Medal of Honor yesterday?? Heroic yes, he does not want to be looked at that way. He was doing HIS JOB.
Great video. I fully enjoy these.

Perfect example!!! Thank you. An article I read said, "He insists he is not a hero, but was only doing “what Marines do…I’m the furthest thing from a hero,” he says." - But I'm a douchebag, fag, loser and all this for saying the same thing he said? Yeah, some people are just overly sensitive.
