Well,Uncle Sam took care of Swiss option! They're singing like a canary to the mighty IRS. Switzerland NOT SECURE. R stooges for US/UK/Ger/Fr so they can apply confiscatory taxes to demonstrably failed and self-serving, massive, social programs for the masses WHO WILL NOT ALLOW THESE "BENEFITS" to go without revolution. Everyone on board for the One World Gov't; no way out but to take your punishment...or go along.Too many libs and one-worlders; they got us. The Prez is a freakin' communist!!!

@drahm33 They don't have to take it; just make it illegal for honest, LAW ABIDING folks to buy, sell, own, transact or transact in gold AND silver. Then you either comply or have 33%, 50%, etc. of your discretionary wealth tied up in metals that you can't use for economic security. Once laws, you'll not be able to buy anything or trade without knowing if the person you are dealing with is a gov't agent or stooge (IRS will offer 1000s to turn in enemies of the state). You won't know!

@personalperspective I am here to tell you, the govt is not going to take your gold and silver. They have no right and can't JUST take your stuff. I do not know one cop or any person in law enforcement or govt that will do this even if told to. The higher ups would not make their guys do this. Only people you have to worry about are the ppl that will break into your house. Has NEVER!!! been any talk around my area of doing this. It's just hard to believe this could happen.

@gates403 I hate to say this but I think you are one of the more strongly principled individuals in law enforcement. I hope there are more like you. My guess is that the govt will have enough in the police force or military to do their bidding whether it be confiscating private property/gold to seizing citizens for jail w/o evidence or their day in court. Haven't we seen it happen in history before with ordinary citizens committing worse atrocities under formal authority repeatedly? =)

Being in law enforcement, I can tell you now that I would not go inside someone's home and tell them they had to had over their gold. This is stupid! So if this is true, who in the hell is the gov going to hire to do this? It would be suicide going to take something that isn't mine. I sure wouldn't let anyone take mine!!
