Soo ... I wanted to try that particle illusion ... installed it and everything ... went into effects wondertouch - particleillusion and when I want to use something from there ... there isn't a preview ... and even if I load it to my video the smoke, that I want to use ( as it is in this case ), or anything else that I tried isn't in my video it's parameters, however, are there, but that doesn't help me a bit ... :? Any ideas on how to fix that, if possible ? :? 10x

I downloaded and installed the trial for this product, but when i use it in AE (cs4) they show up in the preview window but when i click OK they dont show on the video. I have particle illusion 3 and that works fine. Does any one know how i could fix this.

@vnt87 yes & no. Trapcode operates in the 3D environment in AE, I don't believe PI does.
what is the 'limit' to the number of emitters you can add to a project? I've read about it but can not find a definite answer anywhere. Do you think you'd be able to add 30 or so to a project without it stopping you?

@tikigod19 In particleIllusion for After Effects? There's no hard limit, although the more instances you add, the slower things are going to get. It all depends on machine speed, complexity of the emitters you add, what else is going on in AE, etc.

@1c3b0x What is AE3? particleIllusion is available as a standalone application, and also as a plug-in for After Effects 7, CS3, and CS4
