@wildcat236 MLK was a republican in response to southern democrats who championed segregation. Since civil rights, the democratic party has drastically changed. Southern Democrats are non-existent and the Republican party has now moved to the South. So in terms of political stance, this is not contradictory at all.

Ironic. MLK is probably spinning in his grave. He would never have expanded the war in Afghanistan. Then again he couldn't have gotten elected, anyway. Too honest, too decent, too smart and too humanitarian (mainly, too against the interests of the Fascist Mob that actually runs the country).
