@Blain1971 NASCAR isn't racing ;)

@Ferrariman601 Yes, I am American and I didn't discover F1 until 2004. I immediately became an obsessed fan, and watched every race live (early here in the USA). I was a NASCAR fan at the time, but not real big into it. I have been to several NASCAR races, and I fell asleep at one if that tells ya anything. haha, even with all that noise I still got some shut eye.

It's a base that holds the bollards up at corner apexes. T1 here has one. So do most of the corners in the third sector.
-
@joelthecool3 its not a steering wheel its a rim shield from 1 of the cars that gave them 3 tenths of a second aero advantage
-
Mario left that.

@des1mone what a bastard!

holy shit those reflexes
@Jonesy48Shady They don't "throw them around". They gently turn their steering wheels a handful of degrees in to the corner (truth). It's really rather tame and more about consistency than anything else. Passing in nascar doesn't even mean a damn thing unless it's in the final 10-20 laps of a 200 or 300 lap race.
I get absolutely bored to death watching them run their cars in circles for 3.5 hours. I know much of this country loves it and that's OK---but I just can't bring myself to watch it.
