  • Daddy Funk appears to be a cool guy. I like it when a person can really play and he or she takes the time to teach those who are willing to learn. The flam-paradiddle is a great exercise.

  • actually that is a hard rudiment.. however the hybrid rudiment is a little more difficult. its a total of 4 flams. play the paradiddle but with flams.

  • 15 folks forgot their flam!

  • 15 people Get Retarded

Coz they can't do the Flam Paradiddle

  • good lesson pretty simple and straight forward

  • 2:08 to 2:12 was fun

  • Many flam rudiments sound good played with one hand on hi hat and the other on snare, but playing "flat flams" (left-right unisons with equal volume, rather than actual flams, which require one hand to strike just before the other). On that topic, all of the flam beats in the book Stick Control can be practiced with flat flams, as well as regular flams. Practicing unisons with left hand on snare and right on floor tom is useful, as there is often a need to play such unisons when filling.

  • here in the states we call that a flam-a-diddle. A flam para-diddle would have a flam followed by a complete para-diddle.

  • great pattern kool teaching as well

  • @daddyfunk3 your like the most awesome guy ever lol

  • You know it's a lot easier to play when you don't flail your arms all over the place.......
