@ADMIRALSCORNER I know it's a long time ago this dialogue but I just reviewed it and thought I hadn't responded to your very relevant questions.
The C1 is very top heavy and takes a bit of careful self-training to get used to it and not find you drop it or strain a groin-muscle trying not to ! It's underpowered but does well for a 125cc 4-Stroke
I no longer have the C1 scooter. The turning point for me came with a bill for £600 to service and MOT it at BMW. Suffers from BMW Image-syndrome!

Sadly i no longer own them as they had to be sold to pay inheritance tax on money we didnt inherit! Its a very unfair tax!

Sadly I no longer own any of these scooters. The best way to track down spares is to join the Vintage Motor Scooter Club and to advertise for any in their magazine or in the monthly Scootering magazine available from newsagents.

what a lovley collection you had,ive looked at your other video's.and it is such a shame you had to get rid of some of them.for that bloody stupid tax you had to pay...i have one scooter only a 1960 series 2 ,i would be gutted if i had to get rid of that.shame...

Thankyou! As you might expect it was devestating newsat the time and we also faced a large legal bill to fight it unsuccesfully! Anyway that is in the past and I had good tmes with classic scooters! i enjoyed my 1960 lambretta Tv 175, it was truly a classic shape! By the way, I have just uploaded another scooter video titled PIATTI SCOOTER 2009.

Probably the best way is to advertise for one in Scootering Magazine or in the Vintage Motor Scooter Club magazine.
