can't compare the quality of GoPro's videos and the ones of Contour's ... GoPro is obviously much better . Contour got potencial and it needs to be worked a litlle bit more, expecially in terms of sound.

two big companies , two big products with their one features. I totally agree with you when you say GoPro is far more advertised than Contour, but lets assume video & sound quality can't be compare as both cameras have their own pros and cons. GoPro still have a great amount and variety of amounts etc , in which Countour has still lot to work. So I think GoPro is still a better option ;)
