Check out the "Part III" article on the web site - I go into detail on how to make range cards and how to use them. Short answer, you need a data card with good data to make first-round hits like we're demonstrating here.

I had one of the first barrels in the US chambered in 6.5x47 and wrote some of the first articles that were based on first-hand testing about it. I don't really get the argument that using amateur or inaccurate nomenclature would be better than what we said here.

@skateforgirls13 I'd start out with some 400m - 700m 223 to get your fundamentals down. Savage makes several good STARTING rifles. Gotta work the basics before you go and drop 5k on a rifle.
