compressed air can finally be used effectively to power vehicles. the design of australian engineer angelo di pietro is able to convert over 90% of the energy stored in compressed air, while the conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) usually has an efficiency of less than 20%.

My name is Eric, U and I have spoke long distance before. I still want to partner with U on bringing your invention to the USA. Please contact me. My phone# and address is in your database. This is the wave of the future and the future is NOW.

  • Free energy labeled 'economic terrorism' - The widespread adoption of these new, non-polluting energy and propulsion systems will effectively replace the use of oil, gas, coal, nuclear power, impacting 4.5 trillion dollars a year in world economic activity, replace? the current? geo-political order with one based on decentralized abundance. • I like Di Pietros engine...very similar to a Rotary wankle engine..The most efficient design!

  • @cebupermies To store 14.3 kWh at 300 bar in 300 l (90 m3 at 1 bar) reservoirs, u need at least 93 kWh on the compressor side (and 14.3 kWh is the energy equivalent of less than 1 l of gasoline): Hahahahah!!

Tell me, what does a mentally challenged person like you think about who or how the air is compressed in the first place???? Hahahaha, does it happen automatically??? Is it pure magic??? Yiipppiiieehh: The world full of fools!!

  • air compressed engine isnt his invention. maybe this specific one shown here but first engines were built over 150 and used in public transportation.

  • This is absurd.

I'm not just some cynical naysayer, I've designed and made an air-motor from scratch. I know how they work.

They're not particularly efficient, or particularly in-efficient, they have their uses, this is not one.

The weight of an adequate pressure vessel which can fit into volume constraints of an automobile and be sufficiently robust to meet even the most lax of crash safety regulations means this will never happen.

  • You technically illiterate moron

There are hundreds of valuable, interesting technical projects for transportation and energy provision. This SCAM is NOT one of them

Over 10 years and no cars sold or independently tested. The claims are lies which even the USA license holder admits.

    Google vencat 20 miles

You made a mind bogglingly stupid statement that air needs to be compressed with out thermal change. This will happen after they bread geese to poop gold bricks. Good luck waiting

  • @fizzguts Your right, it can't be done lets just give up and stop trying. No more tinkering no more exploring no more puzzling or using ones imagination. Your negative, can't do attitude is like a cancer. You are a classic example of defeatism. I hope you can see this in yourself and seek counseling. Good luck to you.

  • "The race is on figure out how to store compressed air without temp changes and thermal changes."

Right we'll use magic fairy dust to make conservation of energy and all the immutable physical laws go away. Sorry but (joke here) I'm not holding my breath

  • The race is on figure out how to store compressed air without temp changes and thermal changes. This and the use of light weight material (carbon fiber frame, epoxy wields etc) and proper aerodynamics and this might be a real option.
